Bycie zamężną/żonatym to stan, nie czynność. Pytanie w języku polskim będzie zaczynać się od "Czy jesteś…?" wobec tego po angielsku musimy zacząć je od formy czasownika to be (tutaj are). Poprawne jest zdanie "Are you married?".
