These conjunctions link <strong>two parts of a sentence<\/strong>, showing that both elements are connected and belong to the same idea. Other correlative conjunctions include <strong>either\u2026or, both\u2026and, whether\u2026or<\/strong>, and <strong>not only\u2026but<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>What Does Neither\u2026Nor Do?<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Neither\u2026nor<\/strong> connects <strong>two negative elements<\/strong> in a sentence. These elements can be <strong>nouns, pronouns, verbs<\/strong>, or <strong>adjectives<\/strong>. The meaning of <strong>neither\u2026nor<\/strong> is <strong>neither\u2026nor (not one and not the other)<\/strong>.
